My Disguise

by Jason   Nov 17, 2004

Pain strikes deep inside,
It's getting extremely hard to hide,
Feeling as if I might just die,
I think to help,
But there is nothing left to try.

Lingering inside of me,
Day and night,
This pain is always,
In my sight.

Hiding it is a difficult task,
With dependence on,
My pain-free mask.

This horrible disguise,
Sometimes cries,
Exposing my weakness,
My uniqueness,
That I have tried so hard to hide,
I have failed...
