Faceless

by Keile   Nov 18, 2004

You left with every scar
every pain unerased
you left with the dim light that leads my shadow on the ground
you left me tied, with despair I am bound
shadowing the light and darkening the truth
awakened in the night
by his deafening sound
murdering the young yet sparing the suffering
death had taken its toll and here i am slowly drifting along with it
sharp pains in my chest
asphyxiating death
fading off into black eternity
you still held my hand
and yet I don\'t know who you are
this faceless man
cold your solemn voice whispers in my ear
\"goodbye child for death is here\"
I felt this faceless man and his grip slipping by
as he let go of me with resentment
and a tear in his eye
