Silent

Why bother talking?
no-one's listening.
i'll speak when someone wants to hear me
when someone cares about my opinion.
but that's not now.
i'll sit here
silent
not speaking but listening
because i'm nice enough to hear what you have to say
when you don't care about what i have to say.
i stay silent for as long as it takes
for as long as you ignore my opinion.
lets see if you can stand my silence!
