Take me with you

by Alex   Nov 19, 2004

-They had only been together for 3 years when the bad news came
-She had cancer and there was nothing they could do
-They decided to make the best of it and be together as much as they could
-They weren't going to waste any time; they didn't know how long she had
-She began getting weaker and sicker and soon couldn't leave the house
-They would sit and talk for hours on end, sometimes even all night
-They talked about what he would do after she was gone
-She told him to forget about her and to move on
-He swore he never would and it in his heart that thought was impossible
-He lost her early one morning sitting by her side holding her in his arms
-The funeral came and went and he stayed quiet and to himself; he didn't know what to do without her
-He began going through her things when he found a letter:
---My Dearest Ryan,
If you are reading this it means my time has probably come. I know you are sad and wishing I could be there with you, but I don't want you to be sad. I'm with you always; I'm sitting with you right now. Whenever you need me I'm here. Whenever you have a problem you can tell me I'm always listening. Where ever you go whatever you do take me with you. When you meet someone new, when you get married, when you have your children, take me with you. I know that you will never forget me and that you will always keep a part of me with you in your heart. You made me very happy in my life and I know that you will make someone else very happy as well. I don't want you to be afraid to move on. I want you to be happy, just as you wanted me to be. I will always be with you!
My love always and forever,
Angie
-By the time he finished the letter he was sobbing, but this time it was different
-They were tears of joy; he knew it would be hard without her but he knew she would always be a part of him
-No matter where he went or whatever he did she would always be there right beside him
