Last words of the fighter

by alex   Nov 20, 2004

He stood, looking over the land of his enemies, with his loved ones standing beside him, just as they always have. The wind was cold, but he felt only warmth. He knew what would happen to him this battle, and to his friends, so full of sorrow and weary of fighting he said,
"The love we all share with each other cannot be broken by death, or disintegrated by time. It will outlast the stars in the sky. It has become an entity in itself. Few people have the chance to feel true love, but you have all shown it to me. I think, that we few have always been different that the others, we shine brightly with hopes and dreams, like fireflies in an endless night. Fate has been kind enough to let us find each other in this darkness, and together now, our light has grown enough to illuminate the whole world. I can rest assured now that I will always belong to something, and it is something beautiful."
They weeped together that night, and the next day they moved on, to the land of their enemies they had looked over the day before.

no, it doesn't have anything to do with things today, poeple don't think of love before they die much any more. They're more like, "oh! save me please!" I am glad someone liked what I wrote. thank you
