Pouring rain falls to the ground,
As I lay awake listening to the sound,
I think of my day then i start to feel mad.
Tears come to my eyes as i suddenly feel sad.
I reach under my bed and find my blade,
I turn my arm over and look at the marks i have already made.
I put the weapon back as i change my mind.
Then i reach into my pocket and smile at what i find.
I flick the lighter and stare at the burning flame,
Quickly the metal turns hot and i blow the flame out,
I tighten my fist and press the lighter to my arm as i try not to shout.
Tears fall down my cheeks as i repeat.
I watch a heavy tear fall to my dampen sheet.
My arm feels numb so i drop the lighter to the floor.
I open my eyes and look at my sores.
Laying on my back i close my eyes and listen to the rain fall to the ground,
Quickly i fall asleep to the sound.
