The Quiet Boy

by megan   Nov 23, 2004

Your quietness is intriguing
Your soft spoken ways are there
The way you are so humble
It could seem you just don't care

There is a mystery in your ways
A one waiting to be solved
I want to be the one who cracks the case
To be the only one involved

I am drawn in by your persona
I am alert to your taste
I am aware that you are hiding
Yet let nothing go to waste

I want to get to know you
I want to be let in
I want to be the only
One inside your skin

You seem to be unique
To hold much inside yourself
We are at opposing sides
Yet I can't seem to be myself

I have this urging feeling
This sensation that seems to nag
I can't let go of this
You're unlabled by life's tag

I need to let you know
That you mean so much to me
That we can't let this go
I know we are meant to be
