Open your love

by Deathcanwait   Nov 25, 2004

Listen out, into the night,
Can you hear my pain?
My screams a forgotten trite,
My life a leech, mankind’s bane.

Open your eyes; look to the dark,
Can you see my torment?
In my eyes there is no spark,
My blood is cold and spent.

Open your soul let it soar,
So you can look down on me.
No peaceful ending to this war,
My mind never will be free.

Open your spirit let it fly,
Can you see me down?
All I do is hurt and cry,
Don’t kick me whilst I’m down.

Open your mind let it think,
Of bad times, not the good.
I’m at the edge; I’m on the brink,
My mind not understood.

Open your heart let me in,
I’m banging on the door.
Will my love be allowed to win?
I can’t take any more.

personal experiances mainly. if im upset i find it easier to write it down than explain my feelings in words.
