Found

by Deathcanwait   Oct 28, 2008

If Recently Ive found myself
Where the hell was I before?
Life marked out with pins and string
Each pin a slamming door
A past masked dark: a masquerade
A former hiding still
A life lived cold a life at all?
Ten spills to every thrill
But present justifies before
Destination smoothes the ride
Existence gained from lack of one
Truth found where life had lied
Sudden light on dark before
A mist fades leaving air
A realisation enters mind
Just now redeems unfair
A vicious circle cut apart
Not chasing heels of own
A hand in hand clears confused mind
One found now not alone

    If Recently Ive found myself
Where the hell was I before?

    - This line particularly caught my attention. I've felt this way before.

Existence gained from lack of one
Truth found where life had lied

    - I really liked this. It portrays so much while saying so little.

Overall, this was a very good poem. 5/5
