My So Called Friends

by livefreebright   Nov 26, 2004

THIS IS FOR ALL MY SO CALLED FRIENDS
WHO SAY THEY'RE THERE UNTIL THE VERY END
WELL GUESS WHAT IT'S OVER SO LEAVE ME ALONE
DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO PICK UP THE PHONE
YOU NEVER CALL SO DON'T START HERE
JUST LET GO OF THE WHEEL IT'S MY TURN TO STEER
I'M STOPPING THIS NOW I'V HAD ENOUGH
YOU SAY YOU'RE SORRY BUT HEY LIFE'S ROUGH
LIFE SUCKS NO MATTER HOW MANY SMILES
THIS GAS ONLY GETS YOU SO MANY MILES
IT COMES AND IT GOES BUT NO MATTER WHAT
I FORGET THE FUN WHEN I SEE THIS CUT
NEVER FORGOT YOU HURT ME
BUT I GUESS YOU DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO SEE
YOUR KNIFE IS SHARP YOUR CUTS RUN DEEP
THE BLOOD RUNS THICK AS I BEG FOR SLEEP
YOU DON'T SEE THE TEARS, THE SMILE'S A DISGUISE
NO SMILE OR LAUGH CAN COVER THESE LIES
THE LIES STILL STING DEEP INSIDE
IT'S NO LONGER EASY FOR THIS ANGER TO HIDE
YOU SAY YOUR MY FRIEND THEN PROVE IT TO ME
ACT LIKE A FRIEND AND STOP HURTING ME!
