Why Say It?

by Knoxy   Nov 28, 2004

When you said you had nothing to say to me,
My heart stopped,
My hands grew cold,
And then I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

How could you say that?
After everything we've been through,
After everything I did for you,
After everything I sacrificed.

I felt like a total waste,
Just totally worthless.

So I didn't say anything to you,
Not one word.

But then you caved in,
And said sorry,
But if you didn't mean it,
Then why would you say it in the first place?

that was a geat poem! keep up the good work! you have a talent! your poem is very serious and very amazing to read. All the words are true though, why would she say it in the first place if she didn't mean it?! but people do say things when they're upset or angry so be prepared for her to ask for forgivness. It isn't up to me whether you forgive her or not, follow your heart and you will find what's right for you. Take care, luv lucy
