For My Love

I Wrote This Poem For A Girl I Liked At School. I Posted It On The Internet Without Her Knowing. She Eventually Found It And I Found Out She Didn't Like It. :( Broke My Heart. So Here It Is.

When I walked into the classroom
I saw you sitting there
With one look I couldn't move
I was caught up in a stare

She's absolutely beautiful!
Was all that I could think
I couldn't take my eyes off you
I couldn't even blink

Finally I sat down
Feeling lucky as could be
Here's the most beautiful girl in the world
And she's not too far from me

Your smile was astounding
I could smell your sweet perfume
I could hear your soft voice
From way across the room

I had to come and talk to you
What else could I do?
A hundred things were in my head
But all were about you

I started to approach you
My knees were limp and weak
My stomach turned and turned
I tried but couldn't speak

As I stood there red and stuttering
You gave a pretty smile
And somehow it relaxed me
So then we talked a while

As we talked and laughed
I saw the cutest thing
Your nose moved up and down
Every time you spoke or said a word

I like you very much
And care about you too
I hope you feel as happy
As I do when I’m around you
