Three in Mind

by Mathieu Hotte   Nov 29, 2004

These new born beliefs,
have a twin,
his eyes still closed,
they named him ignorance

A healthy cry,
a sceptic's eye,
ignorance awakens,
perception he finds

United in mind,
they grow
facts and fiction,
already known

Adults, they part
meet know and then,
sit in front of the world,
make amends.

With perception forever busy
and belief getting old
ignorance is lonely,
he's lost his bold

A time has passed,
belief found youth,
perception still asks,
ignorance moved

The world always on,
they usually meet,
ignorance missing
for a while it seems

Perception and belief notice,
they don't seem to mind,
sure he'll show up,
when perception dies,
and belief's in a bind.
