Don\'t have but want

by selina   Nov 29, 2004

Forbidden desire
blinded by what you don't have
wanting what u don't have
what u already have isn't enough
you always want more
there is never enough
things you know you can't have
make you want them even more
things you know you shouldn't want
make you want them even more
suddenly what you have
you no longer want
you have no desire or satisfaction
on what you have
suddenly u find yourself
doing things you know aren't right
things you shouldn't do
it will hurt the one you love
but your so blinded by what you don't have
it pisses you off
and you go for it
ruining everything you have
everything you thought you wanted
but now there is something new
a new challenge
someone new
waiting for you
only to start the process over again
forbidden desire

I like this one too. This form of poetry isnt too popular normally, because it doesnt fit what a poem is "supposed" to be in many ways. They make you think and they dont flow, the choppyness makes it harder to percieve. I love them though, I appreciate them very much. You should check out my poem "beautiful girl," you could probably relate to it. It hasnt scored too well because people like the rhyme-y-flow-y ones better, lol. Anyway I LOVE it.
    With love, K. Kristina
