Vanity

King Solomon had it all
material things are worthless, its like striving after the wind...
what do you get out of it?
nothing...
you might gain riches and glory, but soon your gonna fall

be grateful for who you are
you don't need money and the clothes
it doesn't make you happy
so don't try and spend the extra cash
you may have alot, but it won't take you far

why do you share this shameful burden with the world?
you're becoming a ruthless greed
coveting wordly things
there's nothing you can gain from it
haven't you learned?

girl, please!
i'm going to shatter that mirror into a thousand pieces
you're not pretty, you're just like the rest
learn to be humble
and strive for the best

have you been living the proper life?
don't put on the mask of the world
be yourself
why worry about what others may think or do
you're goal is to do right
so just be you!
