The Best of me

by Cheery   Dec 1, 2004

Lost another one,
I sat down and cried,
Blinded by the uprising sun
I got on all four's and sighed..

My hair let down around my head,
Starring down, straight at the ground.
This is my prison, that catches every tear,
So when im in trouble, it just savors another fear..

Your faded eyes grow less aware,
As your gorgeous smile becomes a stare.
I thrive for attention,
Bit I receive none,
Guess you must not of been"the one"

Your lips were less fragile,
When they were with mine,
You would not struggle,
Everything was always fine.

And still in my prison,
My thoughts contrive,
The glimmer from the sun makes my tears seem alive,
As they all move in unison,
And crack down the floor,
An insufferable scream,
I can take this no more.

Breaking down my every whisper
Stealing my ability to breathe,
Remembering everyone in my life,
And destroyed every aspect of the attention I receive.

If this happens again,
I won't beable to talk to a friend,
They all manage to slip through,
One more Ill lose, that'll be you.

I now make my final plead,
Send me one that's right for me!
I am always condemned in my own form of sorrow,
And every night I beg for a better tomorrow.

And no one else could go through this,
I could easily make a list,
The times we fought,
The times we lied,
The times we sat down and cried.
Its mainly to me,
I'm the only one,
To receive this torture,
And always being told to run.

Well Ill tell you now,
This wont happen again,
For if it does, My life will end...

Lost another one,
I sat down and cried,
Blinded by the uprising sun
I got on all four's and sighed....
