Bruises

by So-Not-Normal   Dec 2, 2004

She sits at home all alone,
Tears stinging her eyes she cries,
The bruises hurt her face there all over the place,

She stays in the shadows wherever she is cause someone might see marks and ask about it,

The person that she loves does nothing but abuse her but she doesn't do anything,

She scared all of the time not wanting him to hit her,

When he comes near she cries "Please Johnny no" but all she sees is the anger in his eyes,

He smacks her around and she lands on the floor but she gets back up and braces for more,

Someone once asked her why she took that crap and she replied "But hes not always like that"

Every bruise is a symbol of her love for him but his line between love and hate is very thin,

For every ounce of love on him she uses she'll just get another million bruises.
