Broken inside

Every day she puts on the same fake smile
she has to tell herself to hold it just for a while

no one knows what goes on in her life
they don't know each day she uses that knife

she cuts a bit deeper every day
hoping eventually the pain will fade away

shes a social outcast that nobody knows
which is what she remembers as the blood flows

shes the girl you don't know,the girl with no name
the one you just stare at who is filled with shame

she risks her life each time she slits
but she wont stop until the pain quits

one day you'll hear about her death on the news
and you will feel bad you paid no attention to her clues
