Winter

by Elizabeth Ann   Dec 4, 2004

You’ll find me anywhere a soul unacceptable, brash darkness wailing from around me...

A singled out saccharine, cloying envy from my hopelessness.

A shard from the day levels me, and graying winter break me.

And so I’ve already become a whisper.
