The way you looked last night.

by brin macnamara   Dec 4, 2004

Over the whole world last night the bright orb of the full moon hung.
Shining with a luminescence like that of your hair.

But today...

Remembrances flood in to my Love torn heart of how you looked last night.
Of your voice, laughter and ruby red lips pursed whilst you sat with another.

Saying your name to myself sends my heart into raptures and causes my very essence to quake.
Now I silently weep as I find myself journeying down an ancient corridor to past forgotten times,
recalling Loves lost and Loves left behind.

But Darling, I will never leave you.
