My First, My Forever

by «_ĀÐdï©+ïØñ¯»   Dec 5, 2004

You were never there for me,
You always made things worse,
You never tried to help me,
It seemed your presence was a curse.
Love is once more too strong a word to use,
More suited is the word ‘infatuation’,
Your lies simply must have left my head,
Floating away with my imagination.
I didn\'t realize the hurt that would be caused,
After one night, I regret with all my heart,
I wanted that feeling more than anything else,
But now I’m wishing for it to soon depart.
Too young, too soon, too foolish… I know,
But at the time it did feel right,
As we gazed into each others eyes,
And were whisked away into the night.
Days have passed and you haven’t called,
I now realise that something’s missing,
I’ve spent my time worrying and crying,
When I should have been reminiscing.
I thought you were the one for me,
More perfect than any other guy,
I never should have given in to you,
Or given you the chance to make me cry.
You’re a thieving little baztard,
You’ve torn my world apart…
First you took my virginity…
And then you stole my heart…
