What You Can't See

by Ashleigh Skye   Dec 7, 2004

You see its teeth,
in the cold dark night.
You see its eyes,
but not with your sight.

Your hear its voice.
dripping with ice.
He cuts your wrist,
with just one slice.

He spreads his wings,
and starts to fly,
up into the sky,
as you wither and die.

Death will take you,
in its cold dark hand,
and butterflies,
will cross the land.

I wrote this in school one day with the help of my friend, he came up with the very last verse
