Use to walk outside
And enjoy the warmth
Of the sun’s rays
As it kisses my skin
And I could feel I could fly
On the skies above
When I’m with you

I use to fear the dark
But know I don’t
For I know
The darkness
Is my sanctuary
When the shadows
Protect me
While the soft moonlight
Rocks me to sleep
And the whispering winds
Sings my melody

I may have the sweetest personality
The most innocent person
Everyone knew
But deep inside
I am a fallen angel
A lost soul
In this universe
That would never find
My way home
Because ….
