Jonathan

by Elizabeth   Dec 11, 2004

So young and now your gone,
You were 3 almost 4 years old,
I didn't even know you that long,
Now you're in a place where the gates are made of gold.

You left a empty space in your parent's life,
They were expecting you since they were declared Man and Wife,
Your brother Christian will never forget you,
Your death seemed so untrue.

The day I saw you in that casket was the day I cried the most,
Your brother Christian was drowning in tears,
Now you're a heavenly ghost,
To me your death still untrue appears.

In your Spiderman shoes you were buried,
They were your favorite I was told,
By your father to the grave you were carried,
The last time I kissed you, you were so cold.

You will always be remembered with love and joy,
An angel on earth filled with energy and love,
You were and are a loved little boy,
Fly high with your 3 doves.
Rest in heavenly peace little angel.

** This poem is dedicated to my little cousin Jonathan that died in a car wreck at age 3, in Phoenix< Arizona. He was going to be 4 Dec. 23-2004 and he died Dec. 5-2004.
By a stupid lady who ran red light.**
