You said you loved me
You said you cared
But if you did you would have been there
You said everything would be alright
You said you'd help me through each night
But every night I had a different fright
You said that this would last forever
You said nothing could tear us apart
But you left me for another heart
You said it was just the time to be apart
You said that we could still be friends
But I thought we would never end
What happened to everything you said?
Were those just words with no meaning?
