Three Little Words

by chelsea   Dec 13, 2004

I can't believe I love him so,
But when I'm around him I can't help but feel,
All the feelings I could lend.

Back to him just to show,
The mutual love, that I hope will grow.

With a kiss or a hug,
Even a smile will help get through the day.

To feel his warmth or see the caring look in his eyes,
To hear him say those three little words.

I love you as he whispers in my ear
As my heart flutters over all the things I hear.

So you know he found the key,
And opened the door,so he could see.

All the feelings that hid inside,
Fear, anger, hate, but most of all the love.

He didn't understand them at all,but he said,
The love he has looks past all the confusion,
and looks straight to the beauty of it all,
he looks straight into my soul.

So now I know none of the old,
It's all new, just to feel it all,
Is fascinating and wonderful.

When he's around I can be me,
And he loves me for all the silly things indeed!

So now you know I love him so,
With three little words that don't have to be said,
But are felt with the soul and the heart instead.

your poem was very heartfelt but work on the form alittle. try to make sure that line and syllable and rhyming consistancy stays constant during this type of poem writing. excellent joB!
