Fated Angel

by Bryce Ellner   Dec 15, 2004

For too long have I suffered
For too long have I cried
Holding my breathe for one truth
Only to find a world of lies.
The veil has been lifted
The heart is no longer restrained
Free to love and free to hate
Free to destroy those who have feigned.

What was is now forgotten
Its nothing but a memory
Moving forward is all I can do
And maybe finally I'll be able to see

And so my mother Fate,
Send me where thy will
I'll risk my blade, my pride, my life
So my heart will finally be distilled.

It matters not whether I must go through the forests
Or over the mountains that never sing
Just tell this forgotten Angel
How to take back his wings...
