Journey to Dragons Hollow: P8

*Do not read if you have not read parts 1-7*

"Follow me dearies," the old lady said, her voice cracking with excitement. She led them back behind a red velvet curtain (if you shop at hot topic then you know what i am talking about, it's kind of like the one that you change behind.) The old lady sat down behind a desk, tarot cards spread out around a crystal ball. The whole setting was like that of a movie. "OK, who would like their fortunes read first?" the old lady asked. Her eyes sparkling.
Willie was visibly shaking in his boots, so Ana volunteered herself.
The lady dealt out the cards, smiling immediately, then frowning. "Oh dear Oh dear." she clucked. "WHAT!" Ana asked. She
didn't think that she could take another tragedy in her life right now. "Well, dear, see this card here?" She pointed a wrinkled finger at one of the cards, "This means that happiness will befall you very soon."
Ana looked at her confused, "How is that a bad thing?"
"Well, see this card here? Well, that means that death is almost at your door. Someone you care about very much is going to die soon." Ana looked at her skeptically, "Look, Ma'am not to be disrespectful, but there really isn't anyone else for me to lose."
"What about your brother?"
Both Ana and Willie shot each other a look, it said "How does she know about Car?"
As if reading their thoughts she smiled, "The cards deary, the cards never lie. Your brother is sick correct?"
"NO! Carson has been healthy for four years! He is doing great. They haven't found anything wrong with him."
"Well, i suppose that i could be wrong...it wouldn't be the first time." She said as if trying to comfort the girl. "Don't fret about it dear, i am just a lonely old lady excited at the fact of having someone to talk to." Willie was getting really freaked out by now, "Ana-"
"Yeah, um miss, if i get caught, I'll be the one to die, my foster parents will kill me. But thank you for reading my fortune." Ana said, speaking half of the truth. She was excited by the fact that her cards had been read. Not at what they said. "Anytime dear. Please come back and visit me, i do get awfully lonely."
Neither of the two said anything. The old woman watched them go. Then making sure they were well down the street cackled, "Fools! She doesn't believe, you must always take what the cards say seriously. You never know what will happen. The boy, he was just scared. HM, what am i going to do? I wonder if when tragedy befalls
that girl if she will come back? Ah oh well, a good nights work if you ask me.

Interesting story.... (forgot to end the quote at the end)... This kinda reminds me of that witch movie... I forgot it's name... I want to say charmed... But that's the T.V. show.... I think if her brother dies Ana will not want to live... This is a very good story... Keep it going... Though i have to say something about the vodoo lady... The way she talked was slightly weird.... Like i never heard an old person say "fret" before.... She sounds at points old.. wise... and scary... but other times i was like "ehhh" hehe... :-p ... Well okay... This is a long enough comment... Keep on writing and Take Care

I also realize that i slacked off at the end but i had to go to work. so i just wrote an ending. Enjoy tho!
