My Vampire

by Your eyeliner is laughable   Dec 18, 2004

Come to meet me please my love,
Where the darkest angels lie,
And bring me back from deepest despair,
Without the will to die..

Come to meet me please my love,
Where the turbid water writhes,
In the icy grip of loneliness,
The story of our lives.

Down below the waning moon,
In twisted hurting pain,
The remnants of your distant life,
Preserved in woven chains,

And further past the forest lay,
A mortal soul that lost its way,
And as I wept the vampire heard,
and the love was told in his rhyming words,
and my faith was found and his shadows warmed
and the woven chains were now disarmed

And the story of the undecieved,
When the vampire whispered,
And I believed.

Beautifully graphic; I loved it. A truly remarkable piece about the living undead. I admire this poem in all different aspects. It's original- and I'm a sucker for vampire poems.
    Well done!

    Bold effort.

I can't add anything to this, which is unsual, brilliant flow, nothing too cliche about it...top ending.

Like Anne Rice huh? Have you ever roleplayed a vampire before? I was Louis for about 6 months in this amazing story...i'm thinking of starting up something like that in here. WOuld you be interested?
