False cry

by Sinister Soire   Dec 19, 2004

I love you all who know me well
You know my pain and all my feelings
Your accepting me is all too swell
My problems need major dealings

I know you think I’m really me
But the face you know that’s mine
The false façade of joy and glee
Is just that a false and phony spine

I know you all think I’m ok
But this is my cry to you out loud
I can’t tell you right now today
But maybe you’ll see without the shroud

I’m torn apart by mixed emotions
I you love me now but not tomorrow
Your moods about me; tides of oceans
This courage is yours not mine just borrowed

I know I lack the strength to do it
But the feelings still exist
I wish my wrists I could just slit
Take the blade to peaceful wrist

You know me now with fear abandoned
She means that much to me I fear
That her rejection will be pained
But life of mine I will not tear

Thank those of you who have listened
To my rant of false ambitions
I’m safe tonight from past tears glistened
And now continue on your missions
