Scared?

by ?   Dec 22, 2004

Scared of planes,
Scared of heights,
Scared of violence,
Scared of fights.

I'm not scared,
And I'll tell you why,
Cause I'm not scared of death,
Not scared of saying good-bye.

Why be scared of flying,
Flying so high,
The worst that could happen,
Would only be to die.

Why be scared of crossing the road,
While the traffic is speeding,
Just run right at it,
And see what life brings.

Why be scared of heights,
When all there is to do is fall,
Fall through the air,
Feeling nice and small.

Why be scared of violence,
When you get to feel the pain,
Pain is so much better than nothing,
If you're lucky you may even get slain.

Why be scared of fights,
When all you'll do is lose another friend,
It'll just mean one less person,
Who won't have to see you try to pretend.

So there's nothing to be scared of,
For me atleast,
This is what I have told myself,
This has let the fear release.

youre good at admitting and looking fear in the eye in a poem. death is always there and that it the main reason why people are scared, they dont want to lose their lives. i think that you can really write grandly. keep rockin the poems
