When I was four my mum told me we all have to die
Later that day I killed my cat
With my brothers favorite cricket bat

When I was eight my mum told me we all have to die
The next day my doggy had to die
I sent him to the sky

When I was twelve my mum told me we all have to die
My daddy got in my way
My daddy wasn’t alive the next day

I’ am now sixteen mum didn’t have to tell me today
Mum experienced it first hand
Now her head is lying in the sand
