Mum and dad

I love you mum and dad
Why can’t you love each other?
I still remember the day that mum and I left our house with so many bags
Mum just said that it was nothing special
We would just go to granny for a few days
The few days changed into a whole week
Now, a few years later
I dream of a world with mum and dad together
I love them
They love me
But do they love each other?

This is a poem about my mum and dad,
They broke up 8 years ago
It’s strange but everyday I realize more and more how much I miss them,
To see them together…
