Sometimes things are Different.

And all she wants to do,
Is curl up into a ball,
And never see them hating eyes,
Or the tears that fall.

She wants to disappear,
Into the shadows so dark,
And never have to talk again,
Or hear one more remark.

She wants to become a bird,
And fly through the skies,
Not have any worries,
Or have to hide behind a disguise.

She wants to become part of this world,
And be something worth living,
Live with things that are kind,
And are so forgiving.

She wants to be free,
To think what she dreams,
And just be herself,
For she’s not what she seems.

She wants to be accepted and loved,
So that her confidence may build,
And she wants their words to mean something,
And her heart with love to be filled.

She wants her depression,
To leave her alone,
For it drives people away,
And turns her heart to stone.

She wishes she were different,
But knows she never will,
She wants her ways to change,
And never let any more blood spill.

She wants you to be happy,
And you’ll never know how much,
Until maybe it’s just too late,
And then all you’ll have is words, not her touch.

But she’ll never tell you these things,
Because of some kind of fear?
Or maybe it’s she doesn't want you to have the satisfaction,
Of knowing you made her shed a tear.

Yeh, you may be mad,
But look at it from her view,
She’s burning in the inside,
But she’s too scared of losing you.

You obviously don’t value her,
As much as she does you,
She thought you cared about your friendship,
But this just wasn’t true.

So now she wishes to leave,
To drift away in time,
She wants to fall and fall,
And never ever climb.

Now are you left speechless?
For these feelings you were blind to,
But this isn’t the girl you know,
If only you knew…
