Sometimes I know the right words to say,
Appriciate the things you do.
But then they go unrecognized,
And another day is through.

I could not thank you enough,
For all the things you did.
You gave me life and loved me,
And I'll always be your kid.

You read me books at night,
Cuddled me when I cried.
And no matter what I would say,
You always knew when I lied.

You're the one who took me to school,
And then went off to work.
You tried to stay patient with people,
Even when they acted like a jerk.

You're the one who did everything,
to put other people first.
You let me make my own choices,
No matter how bad it hurt.

You try to see the better day,
When the sky wasn't that bright.
No matter what you'll love me,
And I hope we're always tight.

How can I say thank you
For your love, your joy, your heart.
For all the million things you've done,
From the very early start.

For accepting all my changes,
whether they be bad or good.
Not loving 'cause you had to,
but loving 'cause you could.

For always believing I could make it,
even when I was ready to quit.
For always seeing the best in me,
And showing me life bit by bit.

Thank you for the hope you gave,
For everything you have shown me.
But thank you mom most of all,
For helping me achieve!
