This poem
Is long overdue
Postponed and forgotten
But well deserved too
You’re wonderful
I see what other boys miss
Sometime let’s make a memory
So I can reminisce
I’ll never ever leave you
Your worth too much
I recall before
It’s you I longed to touch
Fall into your eyes
Fish you out of thought
Though I missed it all
It’s my heart you caught
So that anytime
I’d fall to abyss
You’d save me
With a simple kiss
But it’s all over
That was before
Now I long
For another more
However
Be this beginning or end
It’s still your heart
I want to defend
And whatever
The future may say
Right now
Or yesterday
I promise thee
Though I end with a sigh
I’ll be happy
With hello or goodbye
