Electron

by Cassandra Christilaw   Dec 31, 2004

A dazzling life being wasted
In front of a blaring electron
Never moving from that place
Friends wonder what she does all day
They only see her during school
She hums her tune
While she sits in her desk failing her grades
But once she gets home
There she is in front of that electron
Glaring with wonder in her eyes
Hoping she wins that prize
Hours are wasted
Her life is fading away
Friends that care to help
But all she wants is that electron
For a prize
