I don’t see
Why I should care
You were never there
To comfort me

All those nights
I sat and cried alone
And you were never home
Just out getting in fights

I felt you slip away
And I did really try
To figure out why
We drifted farther every day

I feel I was just a tool
To use against your ex
And of all my regrets
I hate the most, that I was your fool

And now I have to leave
Because I need a real man
Not a guy who drinks as much as he can
And I hope you grieve

Cos I will not be
Your fool or your toy
You gave me pain and never joy
And now you have lost me

And I do not care
That you cry for me to come home
See how you like being on your own
See how it feels when nobody’s there.
