No Difference

by kathy   Jan 1, 2005

Whether your hair's a different color
Or your eyes a different shade of blue
None of it makes a difference
When we see the inside of you
Try a different style of clothing
Make an alteration to your face
None of it matters in the end
Because your heart you can't replace
Make-up may hide away moles
Sunglasses hide away a bite
Long sleeves cover the bruises
But everything is given away in your eyes
What's in your heart is what matters most
No matter how hard you try to hide
Because the ones that matter most
See past that and know what's deep inside
