Sitting besides the sea; lying besides the shore

by saurabh_poeticheart   Jan 2, 2005

Sitting besides the sea, lying besides the shore;
staring at the waves,
flashing to and fro;
but my life being stagnant,
i wonder why is it so?

i have lost love once,
why did i let it go?
assuring myself its just a dream,
love was never mine, now i know.
the more i try to feel the love,
the more it tends to go.
like the sand on my palm;
more i try to hold,
more it tends to flow.

sitting besides the sea, lying besides the shore;
i think about love in my life and life without your love,
why are the bindings of hearts destined in heaven above.

sitting besides the sea,lying besides the shore;
i can see the light fading toward end of the day,
so is my love fading,
i can do nothing but let it go away
