Me and only me

I am myself in a personal world
I am an individual
And the only person I can be is me
Everybody else is taken

These words are mine
They are for me and me alone
This is my inspiration
To inspire me to be me

I lack the inspiration to write
I cannot be free to be me
I am in a cage by society
And my family to fit in

My personal pallet of words
Is for my use and mine alone
I fear that I lack originality
And I am a copycat

My originality is all I have
And though it is repetitive
It belongs to me
And it cannot be taken

I am my own person
I am for not moral persuasion
But to each his own
You may be yourself but not me

The only person I can be is me
And the same to you
Because everyone else
Is already taken
