Goodbye

Goodbye means not forever,
As goodbyes in other song

Yet goodbyes should be never,
Or ever be so long

Goodbye is but a loss,
A loss I truly grieve

For goodbyes for me often mean
That the one I love would leave

Goodbye has no “I love you’s”
Or “I’ll wait for you someday”

Goodbye means, “I won’t see you
On this special time or day.”

Goodbyes are often sad,
And bitter, often worse

Goodbyes need not to be bad,
But it is truly a curse.
