Castle in the Cloud

by aLmaRiza   Jan 2, 2005

I am alone
In a place I built on my own
Where no one dares to understand me
Where I can be who I want to be

Where I can do what I want to do
Where I can eat, dance, sleep and fly, too
Where no rules are to be followed
Where no life is borrowed

I have my own, special place
Where I can spend my lonely days
Where I go when I need to shed tears
Where I seek protection from my fears

Castle in the Cloud, as what I call it
It is located far, around a thousand feet
A place where only I can reach
A place where there is no glitch

I personally think that poems should not have an odd number of stanzas it just seems so incomplete. Maybe you should write more to it. It does not seem to be sad yet. Keep up the good work!
