I hate myself for loving you

by Kaitlin Elizabeth   Jan 3, 2005

I hate myself for losing you
For even thinking of letting you go.
I never knew how much I could care
Leaving you made my heart sink so low.

I thought I could have another chance
I thought we could be together.
But you found someone new
So much for "I'll love you forever"

I hate knowing its someone else
You are holding in your arms
Its someone else your saying "I love you" to
Someone else saving you from any harm.

But I just want you to be happy
I'm glad you found someone better than me
She's probably actually worth your love
More than I could ever be.

Its just I hate having to fall asleep
Always leaving tears on my pillow.
Knowing I never had a reason to cry
When I was with you long ago.

But theres one thing I hate more than anything
Something that will always remain true.
And no matter who -you- love
I will always hate myself for still loving you
