A poem to the one I love...

I think back to the day we met.
It was a beautiful night in May.
My stomach filled with butterflies.
I remember like it was yesterday.

I knew after that night
You'd be someone I'd never forget.
Someone always stuck in my mind.
Something I will never regret.

Even with our busy schedules
We make time to talk and "chill".
We aren't going out.
But when we're together, its special.

You are always making me laugh.
No matter how horrible my day was.
I love the way you make me feel
The way no one else does.

You hold me in your arms.
I feel as though nothing else matters.
I know I am safe with you
Even through life's tears and shatters.

You look me in the eyes.
I look in yours to see sparkling blue.
You say the sweetest of things.
And all I want to say is "I love you"

You kiss me like you mean it.
My heart always skips a beat.
I want to be with you always.
You make my life complete.

You are my entire world.
You are one of a kind.
I never stop thinking of you.
You are always on my mind.

Hopefully someday,
You will feel the exact same way.
But until then,
I don't ever want things to change.
