A Final Kill

by Pablo   Jan 5, 2005

Alone in the dark
A little girl cries
Mad at the world
Tired of her disguise

Known to be tough
And fearless as well
But nobody knows
How much she dwells

She's tired of this
Her family and friends
She's through with it all
She doesn't want any of them

The times spent trying
To make things right
Proved to be
One useless fight

With one last breath
And one last will
She writes a letter
Headed A Final Kill

She escapes into the night
Just a rope in hand
And heads to the place
Where she'll make her stand

The person who could've saved her
But never knew
Will be the person
With the most grieving to do

The rope is ready
As she looks in to the sky
On a chair unsteady
She's about to die

She looks at his window
He sees the girl
While she ends her misery
And leaves this world

Later recovered
Her final stand
She writes about her love
To the unknowing man

Tears now falling
He doesn't know what to do
He could've helped her
But he never knew.

So sad. But it's really well written. 5*!
