Color Don't Matter

by Jesi   Jan 5, 2005

Mexican, Black or White,
We all da same in God’s precious sight.

We all come from different places,
All different shapes, and all different faces.

But you gotta keep in mind,
There’s no reason to be unkind.

We’re all livin together in this world,
Same temptations are constantly hurled.

It may just be, a lil bitty dare,
To treat another color, so wrongly unfair.

But how would you like it, if it happen' to you?
Bein judged by your skin just a time or two.

We’re all human beings, it’s not fair at all,
So next time stop and think, before a name you call.

God made us all the same, regardless of our skin,
Doesn’t matter what we got, where we are, or where we’ve been.

Mexican, Black or White,
We all da same in God’s holy sight.

We all come from different places,
All different shapes, and all different faces.

But you gotta keep in mind,
There’s no reason to be unkind.
