Drunken Fool

by Swallowed by Death   Jan 6, 2005

You used to know me, or who you thought I was,
I used to think it was okay to trust,
We both made mistakes, and look where we are,
I’m home alone, and you’re drunk at the bar.
There’s no food in the fridge, and the pantry too,
I’m at home, but where are you?
You say I don’t have any say because you’re an adult,
I’m stuck in this body it’s not my fault,
I’m not the one, who’s acting like a child,
Maybe YOU should stay home every once-in-a-while,
I’m done playing games; I’m done being stuck,
Mom, you really need to grow up.
