Matter(science)

My teacher told me to write about something,
to me with no meaning to hold,
that can be anything from hard or soft,
to anything hot or cold.

matter is what i am talking about,
it could be short or tall,
matter could be any color of the rainbow,
or it could be no color at all.

hardness, texture
size and shape
as big as the universe
or the size of a grape.

matter's everything you touch
it's everything you feel
something you might see
something very real.

the easiest definition
to lose the confusion on your face
is "anything that's got mass,
and takes up lots of space"

*that is an actual definition for it. my teacher actually did ask me to write a poem about matter. but i don't really care for it that much.*
