My brain is rather broken

by Mark Hopwood   Jan 8, 2005

Little boy lost, little girl in the rain
Running through a cloud in nowhere city
Looking around, it all seems the same
Falling hopes land upside down, what a pity.
Reaching for a hand through a glass moonbeam
But it smashes to pieces and cuts you to ribbons
The pain won't wake you this is not a dream
You find nothing and all you've got is mis-given.

And its stuck so deep
inside the castle in your head
Crumbling away as the mote runs dry,
There's nothing you can keep
It's in your mind someone said
Then the castle was gone and so was the sky.

And so you're falling again with nowhere to land
Wishing you never even opened your door today
You can feel your eyes slowly turning to sand
And your hands have fallen off so you can't even pray
What a day, its all gone so wrong
All you can do is take the crap your given
When will it stop its already been to long
You can't always live at the cost of living.
